That flex seal works great to seal porous items .I did a 300 gallon stock tank that I got for free because it had a crack in it from the bottom to up the side and it has been at least 5 years it has been OK and I have emptied it and moved it several times and with it being heavy I was sure it would leak again ,but no .Just need to spray it on in the right temps .

sissy, that's good to know about the sealant for the stock tank. I have one at the moment that leaks and was thinking I would have to pitch it. I'm sure my hubby would love if we could fix it rather than buy a new one ;)

It took several coats and lots of dry time in between .I see now they have that crack sealer also and now lowes has a tape that works and seals when it gets wet .I sprayed the whole tank after it was sealed because the sealer was black .So the whole tank got a coat of it and it is usually left outside in the winter with water in it but this year I emptied it and drug it into the basement and refilled it for plants .I better not bring myself bad luck and have it start leaking :)You know when you mention it something always has to go wrong .I used 3 cans in total on it
