decided to hide first row of retaining wall block and dug up and divided my liriopi and dug out for little lotus pond and planted bananas .Lotus pond will be here with a liner and there will be flat rocks on the liner top hold it down to the concrete block that are going to be filled with clay soil .I have to pull apart some of the ponds retaining wall block and put liner on it and then put the retaining wall block back in it's original place

no pump in it there will just be an air stone .I am hoping that is all it will need. This way i can just add fertilizer to the whole thing since it says every 20 days you should fertilize

Lots of neat junk sissy and love your pretty Iris blooms. I would like to take a swing in that wheel swing of yours. It's cool!
Our grass is growing gangbusters now too. All the rain and now sunshine and then back to rain in a few days. We have to mow every week.

I end up mowing 2 or 3 times a week .I just seem like I get done and it needs done again .I set my mower on 4 or 5 that makes it high enough to shade out the weeds .So cutting it that high and such heavy dew every morning really makes it grow .Have to wait for the dew to dry off the grass to mow .I am going to take some of the yellow iris and put it in a garden with the dark purple iris .I think they will be pretty together .They are like a purple blue color .My sisters baskets

Nice basket sissy. I mow high too, helps the clover bloom for the bees to enjoy. But only mow once a week or so. Don't really care if it does not look perfect.

That is just me ,I mostly do the front part on the sloping hill .The side yards not as much .But seems like the cool nights have really made it grow with all that dew .Then I added lots of organic fertilizer last fall also .

Wow sissy 3 times a week? I'd die if I had to do that. How much property do you mow? We have a bit over an acre to mow and that is too much to me.
Your basket looks really nice and your sis will love it! Love your pretty flowers :)

I have 3 acres + and what takes so long is all the landscaping and going around the back yard fence for my doggies .By the time I finally get done mowing and trimming it is time to start again .I built her 3 baskets 1 big 1 and 2 smaller ones and doing an address and name sign for the bigger basket .Then her hubby wants the tractor and wagon .
