I bought mine from Bend Tarp and liner in Oregon, not sure on price differences, but a great company to work with. HDRPE

I haven't price checked in a long time, but BTL was a good 20-30% more expensive when I initially looked into it. I would encourage anyone thinking of RPE liners to consider them, though. Real experts in the field with more durable options than AT.

Popping back in to say that I am LOVING my bog. It's still not perfect, but my water sure is. :)

Absolutely thrilled with how EASY it is (now) to have a beautiful pond.

I totally agree, love mine. My pond takes no care except yanking over grown bog plants.

Wondering if I should make something similar to a bog for my aquariums!
why not? I had a small bog for my 300 gallon hot tub pond. Quit using since critters used it to sit on and knocked it off more than once.

I did that decades ago unknowingly to the idea of a bog. But I built a water proof shelf . Pulled the fishtail off the wall a foot and had a waterfall drop down into the top of the fish tank

Years ago we had an under gravel filter in an aquarium.
It was a pretty simple plastic shelf maybe 1/2" high that sat on the bottom of the aquarium. It was covered by the aquarium gravel. The device had slits all over it.
Different from our bogs, instead of pumping water through it you pumped air through it.

Yep, same principle.
