Floating pellets. I actually downsized the trap. It was 5x5x5 but is now 3 1/2 x3 1/2. Don't plan on using it in my big pond but it would still work.

Lol thts funy but gf are slowest of all! Iwill tell u never put chiclid in a pond , u can never catch thrm again ,they r so fast and good in hiding and staying there until ur gone, once i added few , they started biting buterfly's tail then it was hell to catch them

When the https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northeast_blackout_of_2003 happened, I took all my indoor aquarium fish outside to the pond so they wouldn't suffocate, the two African knife fishes were finally found in the last gallon in the pond. My plecostomus grew from 2 1/2 inches to 9 inches by fall, he was not a happy camper going back indoors.
