I'll let the two of you discuss that one. LOL 1:100 does seem pretty high to me for plants.I know I would be using a hydrometer or something to mointor the exact salt level at that amount. Wouldn't be doing any guessing.

fishin'...........heres where i got the dosing rates i have been using for a few years now.. with complete success. i have yet to have a fish loss or a even a problem due to parasite(s), or infection (bacterial, or viral). ulcer or any other health problem...i have lost a few to HERON tho.
i think 1 cup per 1000 gals would be to dilute to be of any consequence /' benefit one way or another!

Koiguy, do you use any type of salt meter to test the salinity? That's very intersting. I can see it's 100% sea salt and that's a actual pond salt, I can't argue with those points at all can I? LOL
