Hubby and I were just saying if we ever sell our house, the buyer better like rocks, because the house comes with over 10 tons of them LOL

Anyone know what that alien looking design is on the second one?

Check out these weird rocks we found on our property a few weekends ago.

I know the area where the property is was at a time an ancient forest (lots of petrified wood) and a there are a lot of dinosaur digs in the area.

A rock hound site would know. Maybe find one and post a photo of it and see what they say.

Probably the remaind of ancient vegetation. I've seen similar patterns in coal, which is simply compressed, petrified leaves and such.

Ha Ha no that rock really isn't heart shaped.
It only looks that way cuz it was buried sorta in the dirt. You still have the stolen one

I think a lot of us here would fit into that grand theft classification. I took that rock that kinda looks like a heart and stuck it into my pond edge yesterday. I had a big gap so needed just the right size and shape to fit into that spot. It does kinda look like a heart now that I dug it up and placed it in it's new spot. I still say however it is not the same rock I found while out walking that someone snagged from my saving spot on the road. Funny how we take pix of our rocks like they were pix of our children :)
