i do like about a 2 foot tall wall so its like a seat , and when you do grab a chair the water is right in your lap

And as we get older, it’s a lot easier to enjoy the pond Plus, we have a high water table…..and clay, so a slightly above ground level helps keep the water hippos away (been there, done that).
