It's a tough job being a turtle... That's why rescue turtles are all unemployed :D

Beautiful turtle specimens! He own a red-eared slider and have had a wild painted turtle wander into our yard (well, actually we brought it to our yard because it was crossing the road near the driveway.) We released it into the nearest pond since it was native.
I'm not sure if that was the best idea, but I'd imagine it would have gotten hit where we found it, being surrounded by houses in a town.
If we built a wildlife pond, the next painted turtle that wanders over could stay in our yard!
