Thanks , I have the lillies you sent me planted and they are doing great on a shelf. They are sending leaves up so I will lower the pot to 2 ft shelf. The bean bog is coming back after initially wilting. I bare rooted some in the stream and a bunch in a pot with kitty litter. The pot is in the pond on a 10" shelf.
Do you know what color flowers you sent me?

Sort of, I went around and yanked some tubers off so I could send you some.

I think you got a mayla, Georgia peach and perrys orange sunset, maybe a white also. I pulled fast and shipped fast, so not sure. Had a tiny window of time.............

My poor lilies are still being ignored, but they are blooming beautifully.

It looks awesome @Gordo33 ! Your lilies look amazing! We're finally getting some hot weather, so mine should start going crazy now. It's been a slow start!

Thanks ...I added Highland Rim fert tabs last Saturday and dropped them down to 3 feet. They were below water for a couple of days , no flowers, . The leaves reached the surface and flower buds followed a couple of days later. . I'm looking forward to seeing the flowers @addy1 sent me.

Mine has not been touched since winter except to turn on the pump. Seems to be doing just fine at this time lol

Hopefully in time I will be able to feel comfortable ignoring the pond. I was away for a 3 day weekend and drove the person watching my house crazy asking for pond updates. Wasn't worried about all the other pets but needed the reassurance for the pond:confused:

It will happen.

I only watch the water level.
When the heat hits the bog surface and the stream lose water. Fix that by a yard irrigation contoller. Auto water fill every day.

The bog / plant filters take care of the rest.
I glance at the pond via the cams when we are gone just to confirm water level.

You have security in your set up that allows the "neglect" with peace of mind. I may need to set up a cam system for when i'm away. Having new features set up different from the first build I dont have confidence they will always be running . Time will hopefully ease my nerves.
on a side note the bean bog plants are developing new leaves. the bunch I planted in cat litter is improving quicker than the ones bare rooted in the stream. In the next day or so I'll drop the lillies to 18 inch shelf

My pond is new again as of this year but was lucky I had a neighbor with tanks and saved every drop of my water from the pond .

I also have a great neighbor if I see a issue she will come over and fix anything for me. If it is something she can take care of.
