Wow, really only 12mm glas ?

I can go for that thickness because I have support from all 4 sides and small glass windows as well. My metal frame is L shape 50mmx50mm 5mm thick. It is burried in reinforced concrete and the top is very well braced with both metal and wood. The whole window side should not be bowing or bowing but evenly, which is very important.

From your design, the weak point is where the glass being glued to the frame. Just imagine that the glass is not installed yet, if you pushed the top of that part frame, will it move? I am sure it will move a lot. You can't expect the pond adhesive to act as the strength to hold them together. When it is bowing, it will break the glue and leak.
