Question about overwintering fish in garage

Here is where we are today...40 degree water... 1 25% water change AND 1 50% water change in the last 6 days...

.00 ammonia
.050 nitrite
1.00 nitrate

Fish seem to be all doing good..seem to be happy chilling in the fake weeds but darting around when I mess with the tank. No visual laboring or any issues. Will check water parameters again in 5 days...

I'm having the same trouble with the charts as well, it's more the in between shades

Some pet stores do tests and give you a print out .I have a local pet store that does it for just a couple of dollars .
