Question about growing lotus in pots

I wonder if you could trim the leaf and not the stem. Or trim it above the water, let it seal up and then cut it lower I guess? I haven't had this issue yet so I am glad I can learn from your weird nonsensical logic. :p I really hope your lotus will be ok and isn't :dead::dead::dead:
Me too!!!!!
I didn't think about just trimming the leaf around the stem. Duh. Wish I had.

It's Jurassic Pond! I have elephant ears bigger than chairs! Fish are very happy!

Hahahahaha I tease but that is awesome, we probably need some more pictures to see!! You have done such an awesome job with your pond bagsmom, I'm glad the fish are doing great.

This is the first lotus flower. It's on the water after a storm blew it over.
