It is large semi large pond the water gos into a skimmer then is pumped to the water fall on the other side of the pond . Should the pump run 24/7 ??

Its completely up to you. Since the pump is a filter and helps keep the pond oxygenated I would use your test kits to make sure it stays in the proper parameters while cutting the run time back.
