KoiGuy, thanks. TSC is exactly with whom I started. They have EVERY size listed except 70. ;/ I started with the (national) web site (
http://www.tractorsupply.com/webapp...Display&ip_categoryId=&ip_mode=&ip_perPage=20) and having no luck there (or with customer service) started calling locally. Nope. Not unless I want the 50 or the 100.
After following a long list of referrals, I actually found two places w/them late this afternoon. Hooray! One's in stock for $98 and the other can be ordered and will be here Wednesday for...
gasp $63. SOLD! :icon_mrgreen:
Thanks
Dr.C! I'd do eBay, but we're putting shovels in the ground on July 5th- and want to have it by then.
David, wow!
Great photos! And thanks for the info! I agree- I'm kind of leaning toward that 3200 hybrid, for many reasons; strength, oil-free, but the power of a direct drive. It seems the happy medium of all the answers I've gotten thus far.
I also found a club site that shows members ponds: Michigan Koi and Pond Club. The first one I saw was an established & healthy 3000 Gal, THREE waterfalls and a 20ft stream. Their pump size? 2700. Hah!
Crazy how things differ.
So that settles it. The 3200 it is. Finally.
I can't thank all of you enough for your help & advice.
Now comes the fun & stress of actually DOING it. So far we have at least 12-15 volunteers to help out with everything on the 5th. It's not actually going into my place, but at an animal sanctuary. I volunteer there once a week so I'll definitely get to
enjoy it, but still- they get to keep it.

Wish us luck! ..and thanks again!
