Hopefully, I'll be starting the pond back up by the end of the week [down since spring for a very slow-going renovation]. All of my plants have been in tubs or kiddie pools and no new plants have been purchased since.
Before I start adding them back to the pond, should I treat them first? They already have some established bio-bugs that would be helpful with the pond. But is that enough of a benefit vs killing off any BAD bugs [and those nasty little pond snails!]?

- Also, some places I've read, they talk about adding PP in PPM [parts per million]. How the heck do I figure that out? Surely there is a formula for teaspoons per a set amt. of water......
- I've read to soak plants for hours at a time, and I've read to do a 30 second dip -- big difference there, so which is it?
- afterward, do you rinse them in plain water? and for how long?
- I also read something about doing a hydrogen peroxide dip as a final stage...
- how do you DISPOSE of the PP solution when you're through with it?
