The orioles are back! Two males were up in the trees. I was hoping they'd come down to the oranges, but no luck.

At least the finches always visit.

When I had the orange feeders I hardly ever saw an Oriole in my yard, now that I feed them strawberry jelly they're everywhere!
Try hanging a small dish with strawberry jelly

I've had them non-stop now. They love the oranges. Sometimes they'll eat from my orange suet, too. They don't go to the oriole feeder much unless the oranges are old, but the hummers go to that so it all works out. Grosbeaks have been loving the black sunflower seeds.

This is the time to see Indigo’s as later they tend to stay in the high tree canopy. I saw one yesterday and Orioles are around as oranges cut in half always attract them. Love that Yellow Warbler Rob, great shot as always!

Not the best pic. She/he has been through our yard a couple times now.

I used to see them walking in front of my AZ home right down the street, almost like clockwork, right around 11am.

The pictures aren't very good, but here are my latest visitors. A little chipmunk is by the pond out front, which has me pretty scared. I hope he doesn't chew a hole in it. Fortunately, we have tons of hawks and outdoor cats, so the odds are against him. (He IS very cute, though.). Young Mr. Buck came by to inspect the pond in progress out back.
