Saw a bunch of prints walking across the pond, had to see what did it............deer, that ice must be thick.

Addy it's a winter wonderland you have there to look out and view from your many windows. It's gonna be sunny here today and of course no snow :rolleyes:
That's another neat thing about a fresh snowfall, you get to see what critters have been cruising through your property :p
Gonna take a nice long walk down by the river today in the sunshine :)

They are saying sleet, rain, snow for the next few days, will have to wait and see what hits.

Winds up to 80 mile hr.Over two feet of snow fell last night.
I can't even see my ponds..............2nd to last picture, pic I cannot even open the back doors!

Although 3 days ago I had the wife take a shot of me actually laying on the deep end of the pond ,LOL..........
And a few fish swimming underneath........

Sort of an emergency.... My pump died, pond is not frozen over due to cattle trough heater, do I need to be in a rush to get another pump?

I think you have a few days since the pond is mostly inactive with the cold.
You should always have at least 1 backup pump. What if this happened on a warm day?

If it happened on a warm day I would have no problem hopping in there and fixing it... Point taken though, I will get 2 pumps so I have a backup.

We are going to get 50 degree temperatures this week. Hopefully most of the snow and ice will melt. I have only seen my fish once in the last 4 months. That was on New Years Eve!
