Well, actually, guys & girls, I think that THIS particular baby [first "rescue"] ISN'T the one that Phillip rescued! I thought that because I didn't recognize it when I first netted it from the big stock tank. I was transferring fish to the pond yesterday -- YES, FINALLY!!!!! -- and I netted another one that looked much more like Phillip's rescue. This one was almost totally purple! It's going into the indoor tank today, as well, so I can see what it turns out to look like.
@Nepen My photography skills aren't that great and all I have at present is my iPhone or iPad camera, so it's hard to combat movement to get good shots. I'll try, though. I honestly don't know how people take such good fish photos!!!! About half of them are "normal" color, in various stages of transformation [some went straight to gold, and some stayed olive, changing to black then fading to gold -- interesting....].
