Wow it's so pretty, I'm in love w/it! We actually got rain early this morning and haven't had any in over 51 days. Didn't last long but I'm sure our grass loved it.

I swear having multiple connecting ponds is way better, winter and summer. The upper ponds stay at the same level all the time and only the bottom level pond needs topping up every now and then. Just add water to the top level pond and the excess water runs down to the bottom pond and flushes and tops up bottom pond.
Good thing my ponds are easy care right now and I am so busy running after my mother day and night. This morning she called and could not remember how to turn on her TV. Usually the staff there do it for her in the morning, but somehow she forgot to ask... Then I have been so busy taking care of her old condo and fixing and cleaning, and finally just about done that.... and out of the five kids my sweet mother had, nobody could be bothered to help me move her or clean and repair her old condo.... so mad...

Your pond looks so sparkling clean all the time. You've done a wonderful job in constructing everything to work so easy for you. I like easy and if had to do over I would do things much differently w/mine. Oh well too late now as I am not that energetic to start all over. I will enjoy it the way it is as it brings me happiness.

Glad your mother has you to care about her and help her when she has needs. Lots of times that's the way it is w/only one kid that really steps in and tows the line in these situations. You can't make someone care.

I agree, your pond is always so clear and beautiful ! I can't get over how huge your big orange koi is ! Hopefully things will settle down for you, once your Mom's condo is sold.

Well the lady wanted a two bedroom, not a one bedroom, so its harder to sell one bedrooms for that reason. But I have hope...

Tonight was a beautiful night by my ponds, and the hornwort has really grown very big this year. I think it was because the summer was so hot, and the water was a little warmer or something...

Sitting with my sweet dear mom my at the Medicine Hat Mall. We loved to sit and drink coffee and read paper. So thankful for small things that can make my Sweet mom happy! :)

It's so nice your sweet mom can get out and do some of the same things you always did together. Can she still come sit by your pond w/you too?

Well she can walk a little bit but needs support of a walker. I have not yet taken her to see the ponds as she would have difficult time walking on the cobble and needs a wheelchair. Right now we just go to mall as it is wheelchair accesible and bathroom handy and nearby. I am afraid she would not make the stairs to the house to use bathroom right now. I need a wheelchair ramp for my small house..

wondering how mom was doing and hope my sons would care that much about me
I find that the girls provide a good level of personal care, while my brother likes to visit and relax, but he also brings her lots of food for her little kitchen, even though I seem to eat it all as she is happy to eat at the Meadow Land dining room, and they provide snacks and beverages all day long too.

Is your hydrangea, an Annabelle ? With the hot summer, you'll be looking forward to a cool Canadian winter !
yes I believe it is an Annabelle
