Thanks Tula! Those two big koi are really old, about 25 years old now! I am having Full Moon Madness tonight... Can't sleep and outside wandering around pond for hours, sipping wine as we speak! ;)

Now I want one of those new Pond Max filters but it appears they are not in the U.S. Your pond and fish and plants are simply perfect!

I'm in LOVE with your gardens and ponds :) If I was doing my pond over, I'd build up, so I could sit by the pond.
I also built the ponds up cause I am on flood plain and we do get water from heavy storms that rush down hill and have made it almost to my front door! Back yard no flood reached there yet, but just in case it happens, I have more protection from low level flooding.

Also built up ponds are easy to access as you don't have to reach quite so low down to reach pond equipment
Plus too fish view better and easy to reach and finger train.

Monday I will go up to Animal world where I got filter from, and video the demo model, which is clear (see through), so you can see better, just how simply amazing this filter really is.

It Pays in the long run, to invest in a good easy to clean filter, especially now that I am getting older...

Not having my pond partially above ground, makes it harder to get in and out of, as I get older - lol ! I met a lady in my exercise class that might sell me her pond vacuum, at a very good price :)

I found a couple good links for the PONDMAX filter (with backflow) that I got. Really good demo's to watch in case anyone thinking of getting this filter.

Like I said, I never got the UV Light (optional) {never needed it anyway} and that knocked at least one hundred off the bill.

here is the clear "demo model" so you can see how the filter can be rotated inside, from the outside handle, when you are doing a backflow, and that will release lots of the fish waste water into the garden....

I got the PF2400...
