surprised the local paper did not have pics of your ponds

The local paper just had one little pond that was in Redcliff, the tour had three houses in Redcliff as well as 5 or 6 houses in Medicine Hat. Many people just loved my ponds and yesterday at work a gal pal of mine her friend toured the gardens and she said mine was the best by far!

I was having difficulty getting pictures uploaded so I just copied some from my Facebook account.

currently working on uploading a new video, where I talk about using Ice cubes in your pond when heat it very extreme. We had some very hot days of 100 degree weather this year, and ice cubes will cool the surface of the water off and help prevent algae from rising in the hot day time. Plus too it can help lower the temperature of ponds that are smaller and in danger of overheating.

I have that copper grass also here they call it red rooster and i have fountain grass and zebra grass AND OF COURSE STRAWBERRIES AND CREAM GRASS

Sissy That's the first time I saw the copper colored grasses this spring at our local garden centre. They sure are nice and I will cut them back in fall and store them in greenhouse for next year

I have had mine for 3 years and they are slow growers at least my red roosters are .Not sure if they show up in this pic nope I will have to take a pic of them

THe stuff I got is called something else, like coffee grass, I will have to find the tags, and they seem to grow very fast in clay pots. Of couse this year I used lots of miracle grow!

I always use miracle grow and epsom salts .Not sure why they call it red rooster here
