Sorry I have been so busy lately, trying to get things done and work today too, will post pictures of pond later tonight, have to run to work again, the story of my life these days!

Slept outside by the pond last night, woke up with the birdies all chipping loudly and the twilight color of the early morning sky peeking into the gazebo. Now I am getting ready to go to work again, seems like that is all I do these days. I need to take a vacation or something just to get caught up around house and yard.
Really getting windy, massive rain storm supposed to be on the way today. Right now all the stuff that fell from trees is getting blown off the roof of my gazebo right now. Selfie pictures too.... Hi, its Me!!

Hi Colleen I see you............all of your selfies You slept outside all night? Were the pups w/ you or did they say enough is enough w/ the great outdoors? Glad you didn't get hit w/ a rain storm while you were sleeping. It is too cold at night here to sleep outside and I would miss my comfy bed. You have your little covered area tho and you must have a nice comfy something to sleep on. Wonder if a hammock would be nice to sleep on?

I slept out on that little bench, and I stacked it with cushions and layed down to try it out, and then I was out like a light! I was so tired I think I could have slept in a chair yesterday, cause I worked to hard at work all weekend! I woke up to the sound of birds chipping, it was so nice. Then I went in and fell back asleep on the couch watching TV. I think I could sleep anywhere, some days as soon as my head hits the pillow, I am out like a light!

Now I hear we are under a flood watch, and it might be worse than last year!!! Help!

Hi Colleen, Sometime I sleep outside by my pond, but i never make it too long and usually come back in after a few good mosquito bites!

we have not too many mosquitos here yet, been too cold at night I think. This weekend should be hot, so I am sure they will be out then. I have a big net on my gazebo to help keep them out hopefully!

Hope you are safe from the flood waters Colleen. I remember last year when all your neighbors homes were wrecked but you were able to save yours from the bad sewer backups. You need to run through the village shouting how to keep safe from the crapola!
Don't fall asleep out there on that bench if a flood is coming cuz you might find your self floating down to Montana in the middle of the night

They are building dycks right now in town again, and I am worried about the creek right now more than the river, cause the creeks will be running high and I am only a block from the creek, we shall se how bad it will get, hopefully not too bad for me!

I fell asleep with a fat Poppy at my side, on the bed the house this time! Need coffee, just woke up, watching the news too right now....
