I have ordered from Pond Megastore numerous times in the past & always recommended them highly. Sadly I have got to retract my recommendation based on my recent experience with them.
I ordered a *dwarf* variegated sweetflag back in May & what was shipped to me was the 'regular' sized version (according to the plant tag in the pot) I contacted them, explained the error & asked for them to send me the right plant. The customer service rep actually argued with me & "assured me - it is the correct plant". So, I emailed them back with the links to the two different versions straight off their own website along with a photo of the plant tag (which was NOT the one I ordered)
They then came back & apologized. Told me a new one would be shipped out. It took two more weeks for the new plant to arrive and guess what? Yup, wrong one again! (and wowza! was it a scrawny, pathetic plant of any type!)
I complained yet again, & they asked for a picture of the plant, which I sent them. Heard nothing for yet another week. Emailed twice more, finally got a reply telling me 'oh, yeah, that's the dwarf version' (so why did the tag in the pot say it was the regular one?) but since it was so small they would send me out a better one.
You got it - another week has gone by. No plant, good or bad of any type has shown up. I am beyond disappointed in them & just wanted to give people a 'heads up' that for whatever reason it seems their quality control and customer service is in a sad state, at least right now.
