pond leak and gravel

Hello,
We returned the fish to the pond last night and have now filled the pond. Fish all survived and looked pretty good. Knock on wood leak appears to be fixed. I have left the gravel out of the pond for now. We are thinking about expanding the pond but this will require stronger backs than mine alone. When we enlarge I will take your advice to replace the liner completely.

Believe me help would be great because when i redid mine last year I dug it deeper and also made it longer and not easy to do .I also hit shale .Liner was heavy also .
