pond is finally matured...

so plants are all set nicely now....decided to build a 4-foot waterfall to the right of the pond and also incorporate a skimmer for leaves, for this reason i have not worried about the cap stones being set

Good idea to build in a skimmer! That's the problem with having a pond under a tree in Autumn ;)

yes, but the plus side is that i do not need a UV light. Worth the trade
