I'm not positive, but I think that is the same yellow flower the neighbor has, and says it won't transplant except in the spring, when it's just beginning to grow. Does it spread pretty easily, JW? Addy posted that website for the garden flower gurus, and if you post the pic, they will promptly tell you what it is. I really liked that site!

I think it is some kind of Phlox but not sure. It grows really good and spreads easy by sending underground sprouts. I'll check that site and see what they say.

Addy has a doe with twins coming up into the meadow by her house! She has been watching them play and run and jump. Adorable ... wish we could see them. :blueflower:

That was so neat to see! No little ones around here right now just a couple young bucks getting their antlers growing pretty good now.

Ok here are the daylilies that I threw over fence. That is the dirt clump that they are living off of. I had to stake my dahlias because of so much rain.

Addy they are beautiful . How wonderful to get to see them playing. What are they eating in your flowerbed?
We planted a garden of knockout roses, some flowers, even a watermelon for them to snack on if they want to. The roses do bloom, the deer keep them nicely groomed. I had to put some fencing around the trees, the bucks were rubbing so much getting their velvet off I was afraid they would kill the trees, taking off too much bark.

I wandered around taking more pictures

We had a beautiful rainbow today, sever storm warnings, but it broke up before it hit our house.

Your flowers are beautiful. I saw a hummer in my crocosmia today.
The hummers love them, they tend to spread I move them in the fall if they get to thick in any one area. I love the dark red color.

Love love LOVED the fawn video. How adorable, they play so well together, hide and seek looked to me like. LOL Is the mother around, or are they on their own? Just wondering, cause they look pretty young to be on their own, but never did see the mom. Suspect she was on the edge of the woods, though, keeping a close eye on her fawns.
Love the flowers, too. I have a new lily that bloomed today, never remember seeing it bloom last year, so maybe I got it on clearance, after it had bloomed. It's kind of opposite the colors of the one you posted close up of. Here it is:

CE the mom had walking into the woods, she was probably watching them from the edge. They play a lot in the field then bale for the woods to join mom.
