Pond fountain gone furry green

Hi all
Little update, decided not to join the ponds. Keeping the small one for babies and the big one for the adults. This is it so far, I’ve still got the waterfall to complete then start adding the plants. Pretty proud of myself I accidentally hit a storm drain whilst digging but thanks for the advice on here, I used it to my advantage and turned a bad situation into an overflow system lol.

Oh also it’s now a 2000 gallon pond . So koi have plenty of space

Now.....let's talk filters....
What are you running as of now for filtration?
Since you are so energetic and in the building mode , can we convince you to add a bog filter?
Almost zero maintenance and crystal clear water. No cleaning of filter pads, etc.

I’m running a hozelock 9000 , and fish mate pond filter UV bio 2500G
I thought about putting a bog in, but decided I’ll be putting plenty of potted plants and floating plants in. I may change my mind lol. But right now I’m completely drained ha ha
