Planning pond build but have questions

justbecause hows the filter going ...i got my barrel , and milk crate , have a 3" pipe for aeration tower ready ,cut up 120 ft 2" pipe but i will . need more , got bulk heads today , just moving along

going kind of slow, i got my barrel, milk crate and a 2" ball valve but it's metal. don't know if this will make a difference or not?

its probably brass as long as you get adapters to match it to your bulk head you will be fine

i took some today my filter sits up high because i have a raised pond built the steps to make it easy to clean, have a rubber cap on drain untill winter is over , then i put on summer valves , water drains down into pit that has a perferated pipe that runs under the hill along pond,

I see you remoted yours, good idea. For me, my pond is on an island in the center of my yard so I had to hide mine inside a waterfall I made for that purpose.

You saw my 22" Koi in a previous post. What do you think is a fair price for her? I have a lady with a large pond that needs stocking and she has nothing now. She only wants large Koi and this fits her size requirements.

i never bought a fish that big ,dont have a clue. my kids bought me a 12" beni kikokuryu from san jose, ca it was 250.$ and 100..$ to ship
