I can't grow plants in my pond but I have clear water .I guess between the koi destroying them and I have no clue why for the other reason .Aggie and Bert my 2 biggest koi team up on the floating ring and pull it under enough to pull the plants out .I caught them a couple of times and then gave up ,funny they don't touch the lilies .
