I am just a little bored in the early morning hours today. Thought I would listen to some music and share my selections with you. please enjoy...
I like this snippet best. The expressions on their faces really brings it to life.
Never seen the movie though.

And here's one for you. Never liked it when it came out. But really started to appreciate it when my kids and I played it on Rock Band.

My taste is somewhat eclectic, here's a few more from my playlist:

From the Expedia commercial.

Via Bobby Darin. I found the Louis Armstrong version, the only version I like as much.

How can you not love the American quartet? Composed by a Czech while in America, this version performed in Hong Kong.

John,

You MUST see the Deliverance movie! Please rent it or download it sometime. I know it is 70'ish in quality, but it is a damned good movie. The jist of the story is that the four guys want to take a last canoe trip down one of the most scenic rivers before they dam up the river and make it a lake. The movie follows their last trip down the river and the troubles that they find during their escapade. The very end might leave you with a little "spooky" feeling. Be sure to watch until the complete END after the credits have rolled through to get the full effect.

More on Giorgio Moroder...

Back in the 80's there was a movie called "Electric Dreams" where a PC comes to life. Giorgio Moroder wrote the score for that as well as the score for Midnight Cowboy and many other movies.

Here is a snip from Electric Dreams, the end of the movie...

- I didn't see Deliverance for that reason.
- I don't recall that song. The only one I know is Chase from the movie Midnight Express.
