I have in a pond that is partially shaded, it grows fine, not as well as full sun but it grows.

I can hardly wait to have my bog plants over run the place......but I must practice patience this first year :)

Careful what you wish for... As you now my set up is only a couple years old and the blue rush i believe it is has taken over alright i rip it out and its roots are so aggressive they intertwine with each othso i can pull it out without a battle. If heading toward the slow approach stuff like golden club , sphagnum moss, as they do better ill remove more of the aggressive plants

So far only my local marsh grass and a few lillys are showing. Hope the Pickle rush and others survived the winter. Was -7c this morning but +12c now.

I only have a few plants poking their little green shoots up.

This is where my bog is right now, growing fast. I stripped a lot of plants out last fall.
