Susan, years ago disease knocked my fish count down to two. I had a female orange sarassa and a male red one. Unfortunately I lost the orange one too. I was so bummed out. My fish lost all his friends, partners, etc. It seemed really depressed and lethargic. I waited a month before getting any new ones. Slowly I increased the fish population. Now flash forward 8 years later...it is happy as a lark and has fun with all my other fish :)

I looked everywhere for mare's tail this year - never found any. But I'll keep looking. It's a cool plant!

I found it while walking up in Birch Bay in a ditch off the road. It loves the mucky, muddy waters in that ditch so I'm sure it's around in many other areas also. Keep looking.
