one reason to love string algae

seaweed and algae has some vitamins and minerals in it. I think animals lacking those will eat it. I know in Ireland, cattle used to go on the beach and eat seaweed. I spent 6 years in Japan and ate all kinds of seaweed and lived to tell about it!

We have around 8-10 finches snacking in the deck, you have to look among the leaves to see them. Getting some greens before they fly south

pond. They are landing on the bog bean plant which is floating in the water to get the bits of algae.

Oh gosh forgot about the bees you are bringing back w/you addy. That could be an interesting trip back...................waiting at the rest stops for all those little bees to take potty breaks :rolleyes:

laughing, they will be break less until we hit home. Totally on house arrest!
