No problem will do, I expect it to arrive monday so I will update then. Im almost fishished digging the hole for it too. Wold you suggest drilling a hole at each of the crack.

As bruddaman says I would, it really does help stop a crack from getting larger.

You want to disrupt the path of the crack, i would think even with welding it.

Be careful with plastic welding. Have you done it before. If you dont pay attention, you will end up with hole instead of a crack. That being said, it should work depending on how much tension will be on it.
