Night lily!!

True tropical won't survive in zone 7. There are a couple of hybrids that came out last year that look like tropical but are hardy. Very pretty colors but--- price is really high and limited quantities. I think Addy has one. Check out Turtle Island watergardens.

Is there a hardy or hardier night blooming water lily that can last in zone 7? From your experience.

Not positive, but I think night bloomers are tropicals.

No you can just send it to me to over winter in my pond. I will have winter visitation and you can have a week in the summer... LOL

This is where I got it from @tbendl they have a good price and sent a good big plants. Expensive though once included shipping.

I think I'll try to send you the lily in the beginning/middle of September, that will give it time to spread a bit. I read about it that it doesn't bloom in winter but think come April or May you will have some nice flowers.

You need the purple one I have, it opens early like 630 am closes late around 5ish. It and the barbara dobbins stay open the longest. A nice gray gloomy day and the others stay open until dark.
