Watch out your 10 feeders will soon be lots! I started with a few, they sure do procreate!

Hello all,
It has been since the 27 of March since I have checked in here and have only had One floater. I believe she was pregnant and quite
a bit along as she was full of something, no I didn't autopsy.

The fish are growing and feedeing and seem to be happy. my big issue is a cannot see more than 4-5 inches in the water for
the Green "smoke" in the water. I even put a swimming pool pump/filter on the job and have to clean the paper filter every day.
The filter just clogs with the fine green material.
I also made a sand filter with a 5 gallon bucket and 400GPH pump.

I have been running these 24/7 for 3 weeks and still no clearing.

I poured some Barley extracft I got from a home improvement store in and that did nothing that I could
discerne.

I'm just not sure what to do. I thought about the red stuff walmart sells for fish tanks as it is supposed to be fish safe.
But at 9 dollars a pop and 400 gallons per bottle, i'd have to dump 50 bucks into the stuff.
Of course if you guys think it will help much, i'll do it.

Sissy, you say it will clear over time?
I sure hope so..
I will be adding Cat tails this week, I thought about Lilly pads, but i'm told they will take over.

Thanks,

Tom
