Wow that ones fat you have there kougs and how are they doing since you brought them home

I'm still patiently waiting for clear water since I added the quilt batting last Wednesday. I visited Russell Water Gardens last Friday to look at their outside ponds to see how their fish are doing this time of year. All Koi seem to be laying on the bottom motionless. A very eerie site. At first one might think the Koi are dead. So I'm thinking my kids are doing the same thing.

Even with the warmer water here they do that .I remember the first year with my pond scared the daylights out of me .Great you have a place to go to see how they react .Here all we have is Dana's Garden Center and there big pond is indoors .They took over A warehouse and broke up part of the concrete floor and put in a pond and then ran it through the wall to a big stream down the back hill of the warehouse .I have to take pics the next time I go there .

Then I very fortunate. What they refer to here the Eastside, meaning east of Lake Washington, I have four places to choose from. Russell WaterGardener, Falling WaterGarden, Moorehaven and Rock Mountain. Russell is on my way home before I pick up my wife from work.

Last summer I redid my settlement pond with plans of moving my skippy filter, building a stream, and redoing my waterfall. Weather got to hot and never got it done. Maybe this year. I'll have to wait and see if my ambition os up to it.
