Hi, First time on this forum. Have been member of another forum for many years. I have had various ponds since the 90's. My present pond ihas existed since 2005.15x20x3.5 home to plants and 6 koi. Here is picture taken yesterday. Not much snow in Pa. for this time of year. Unusual winter. Look forward to meeting new memmbers and gaining knowledge on here.

Thank you for the warm welcome everyone has extended. I am fortunate to live in Pa. There are many stone quarries near my home. I know some of the owner operators and they let me go there and pickup the stone that has no value for free. One man's trash is another man's treasure. As to question about woods in back and having animals bother my pond. I only had one mink get in my pond and kill 2 big gold fish I had. I got out my 22 rifle and he went to the big woods up in the sky. Chipmunks do go in and out of the rocks but no problem. I have also seen a non poisnous snake hanging around the rocks. Probablyafter the chipmunks. Have had bears destroy my bird feeders in a tree near by but they have never bothered the pond.

WOW mink coat .We get a few bears here and animal control relocates them when they catch them .We had one in a farm pond here last week on the edge and the farmer took pics of it killing a wild duck in the pond .It must have snuck up on it or bears are faster when they are hungry .I still own a house in PA that is my parents house in Benton PA .No value for the land or the house .Nothing selling there so cousins live there and pay the utililties and taxes and take care of the property

Like how you hid your waterfall makes it look like it is a natural spring running into the pond .Wondering do you have well water and are there any natural spring on your property .I know in PA there are lots of natural springs
