It gets cold here in the winters, great decision to bring those fish in. If you can manage it get a stock tank from a farm supply. one hundred gallon or one hundred and fifty should do it. If there going to be kept in a garage, likely they won't be too active through the winter so they don't need alot of room. But, if you should bring them into your basement, they will be active and need space to swim. If the temp gets forty five celcius or less, no need to feed. You can make a under gravel filter easy with some pvc pipe, a drill, a small hose, river rock and a submersible pump.

I've been wintering my pond fish this way for six years. Good luck
