The electrical is fine. One of the pumps is an old brass one and I have a body that does commercial pond work for a living. I get stuff wholesale so the pumps won't be an issue but everything does run when I throw the breakers. I'm sure there is work to be done but I am more worriEd about the actual pond then the pumps due to my experience if that makes sense?

Yep, makes sense.
I've also been reefing for about 30 years.
Get some water in it and watch for leaks. You're in a dry climate so you'll have to take that into account.
If that's ok, prime the pumps get them going and see what happens.
Let us know.
