Hardiness Zone

Whew! I looked and looked, having a hard time finding a site that gave the hardiness zone, and finally found one that said zones 5-10. I'm in 6, so it should be good to go. However, I also found a site that said to keep it from freezing .... so we shall see. I know it had leaf or two on it all last summer, until weather got cold, so assume it made it through the summer. I kept the area around it clear in that bog, so I would know to be careful and not step on it. And, this spring, that is the only area that had green algae stuff showing up, as no plant matter in that 12" diameter spot. Was very careful to remove the green, and then spotted the stem in the pea gravel, so hoping it will soon send up it's first leaves of the season. Will try to keep you posted ... as long as I remember where we talked about it! I'm following way too many threads.

I should grow here too then. I suppose I could put one in a pot - my bogs have been taken over by water celery. I love the spikes though.
