New pond

i was seriously talking about this yesterday lol i was thinking about these also... but in regards to the 55 gallon drums... what if i just did it on a bigger scale... instead of drums could i build a im guessing something like a 5x5x5 square is use this is a filter or how big would it have to be? if not i might really have to get the Advantage 15 bead filters im new and ready to take criticism and ideas

Typically, it is recommended that the size of a filter should be 15% to 20% of the volume of the pond if your pond has large stocks of fish or has Koi.

so i might just have to go with the advantage bead filter to make things a lot simpler in my life? lol do you sell these and if so could you send me a pm

The two 15's would only be good for 30000 gallons so this doesn't count for the water in your filters and pipes.

And for liner where do you guys recommend i order it from and should i put something under the liner? some people told me old carpet would do o_O

I used bend tarp and liner, tough and if you have good dirt you don't need under layment.

We used carpet pad, but carpet will do also. My ground here is rock with a little dirt, so I did put underlayment under the liner.

oh dear another who gets high on liners and will be out there cherishing it and ogling it lol .Yeh I heard snow up that way as we will only get rain maybe but will get a little cooler was in the high 70's the last couple of days
