New pond, now we want it bigger..

We've laid some more bricks and added some plants.

I'm not normally a fan of that style of pond, but I think yours looks sharp! Those pavers are really helping to tie it into the landscape and make it look like it belongs, at least for me.

Thanks brc! Our goal is to completely surround the pond with the pavers, creating a more formal oasis. Heres a pic from the back...still along way to go. We laid about 45 bricks today and there's still so much to do!

Hey, Good luck with your new pond. it looks really nice. I think 4-5 ft deep is the best depth, but I have a friend that has kept ponds less than even 3 ft. Something to know about pavers is that with water run off they will leach into the water and make it more alkaline. I would check to make sure your ph is not too high.
