Good that you are able to get out there again and get some work done and great find on the free decking! Didn't know you could paint it. Sorry you have the pain problems. I am able to use Ibuprofen so far to keep my pain from working too hard at bay. When I go for my long walks I take some too or I will be walking around that evening like a hunchback!

Trex can be painted to extent but will peel or wear off really fast so you may want to reconsider the up keep if you paint it .Been there done that with my house in NJ and ended up cleaning a peeling all the paint off .Power washer took most of it off .

I say what's wrong w/ the gray color? I'd be afraid to paint it after what sissy says unless they have come up w/ some kind of stuff guaranteed to work or they will fix the whole deal if it goes wrong.

I would stick with gray also, looks like weathered wood.
