Love everything! Never saw your lily ponds before, so that was new to me, love the pavers you surrounded them with. And, that waterfall, cascading OVER that large ... is it a curved rock or what is that? Would love to see up close pics. Maybe I missed them before. Love that! Your place is more than a showcase .... it's HEAVEN! Love your tropical lilies in bloom. The purple one I think I got from you last year, didn't survive the winter. I have NO luck keeping plants over winter, for some reason. The yellow ones I got are getting ready to bloom. One I left outside, the other in the basement. Outside one is larger plant, and has the bloom. :) Thanks for sharing your heaven with the rest of us. Always something aspire to.
I've been slowly working on the Lily ponds last fall and during the Winter. Just put all the pavers in the last weekend in May. that was my birthday present to me. LOL The big curved rock is actually a Movie set piece from the movie The Defiance. A local nursery had it and about five others made for a for a movie set and when they were done the nursery got them back. I ask about it a few times and the owner finally sold it to me for an agreed price. I've yet to see it in the movie but I loved the shape and it gave a nice back drop to the water falls. Lot easier to mage and move than a natural stone too. BTW, My dwarf cat tails are finally starting to grow in. I'm up to about 6-7 now. the original ones died from the freeze but new shoots came back and now they are really starting to fill in.

That rock is so cool Larkin! You have a piece of movie history right there at your pond. Your buying it reminds me of that show Pickers on tv how they dicker for prices on stuff they really want.

I got a miniature mini (yes, double mini lol) cattail last year, that was like a reed (round leaves, rather than flat), and the cattail was about 1" long. Adorable! Thought it didn't make it, but now it has at least 5 shoots from original plant, so hoping it will make cattails again. But, before it came back, I bought what I thought was the same thing, same place. However, the new "mini" is about twice as tall, but same round type of leaves, and the cattail that is emerging appears to be a "double-decker", cattail on top of cattail! Here's a pic I took this evening. It's like the mini I had last year, then above the cattail is a thin brown part that looks like a very thin cattail. Kinda cool!

Most of the supplies arrived, Rocks, more pea gravel, skimmers, and plumbing.
Are those Kewanee Flats in the smaller pallet? If so I bought several to set on my ledges so I have a stable walking surface! Wish I would have had more for the wintering hole walls.

I got some from addy and think it took a couple years or so for mine to mature and actually get furry round heads on them. This is the first year they got them. They are in a pot of kitty litter.

I got the mini cattails with the 1" cattails on them last year, and this year they are coming back, but so far no cattails. I got a new plant, and it has one so far, but the plant is taller. Love the difference in the plants, though.
