I'm slower than molasses these days. Here are the pics of moss, and close ups of the rock. Please ignore my finger...I'm not very good using a phone as a camera. LOL

geeze that is some really neat looking rocks .Almost reminds you of fossil rock which cost lots of money here .I bet those rocks would sell for high dollars here and would not last long .People would be fighting over them :D

Yes very nice rock and moss too! We have sime really neat rocks here and there too, but some of the weridest rocks are also hard to get to, you have to walk a long ways in this steep hill to get them cool rocks! They should be quite expensive if you ever had to buy them for sure. Where did you find them?

Wow!!! The moss and ferns look great together. I have all this moss growing in my yard that I didn't have the heart to get rid of. Now I know where I am going to put it! Also love the rocks too! Great job.

YEs the moss, great idea! So it grows on rock? I see it turning yellow, is it dying?

Thanks, everyone.

Wayne, the lighter areas that look yellow(er) aren't dying. That area just doesn't receive as much water from the waterfall. It's also the area the squirrels often try to dig in to hide the peanuts a neighbour feeds them.

Just a word of warning with moss on rocks on waterfalls...it will divert a fair bit of water, eventually. There is a lot of my water that drips through the moss, to the sides. The moss is growing out, and in between the rocks. As I don't have the rocks "set" in foam, just stacked, I may have to cut the moss back in a few years, on the backside. I'm good for now, though, as the liner is right to the back edge of the rocks, and rolled. It does mean I have to top up often, though, with such a small pond. Moss is thirsty. LOL
