Glad the ones you have now are looking good and swimming together and hope no more die.
So are you gonna get the fish replaced that died now or did you change your mind and are just getting the cash back?

The 4 fish that died were SPECTACULAR, I really have a pond full of mutts, it would be nice to have some decent quaility ones. So I already paid the $35 for 5 new ones. My plan for the money was to start on my bio filter, but the water is really clear, I don't think I need to be in any hurry, so might as well go for the fish.

The new fish just arrived safe and sound. They are really small compared to the ones that died, but that might be one of the main reasons they are still alive so I'm not going to complain about that at all. There is one dud, a pure white one with a darker white head, not pretty at all. Then there are 2 boring metallics nothing special at all. The last two are really nice though, a really cool white/black/orange one, and a super light yellow and white speckled one. I really like the light yellow one, I don't have any fish that look like that so that's really great. I don't think any of these five can be categorized, I think they're just mutts, but maybe in a few years we'll find out for sure what they are. I'm happy, the school looks complete now with a few butterflies and their long flowing fins.

post some pictures or your new kids, too bad they did not replace the deceased ones with similar colored fish. Now you can watch the small ones grow

I have an all white goldie actually really like it, shows up beautifully.

Glad to hear those made it safe and sound. I would love to see pics. Hopefully the yellow will stay yellow. that's the hardest one for me. I've probably bought 20 koi that were yellow when I bought them and I think three or four may have stayed yellow. One of Our babies is a mettalic yellow matsuba. It's a really neat looking fish right now but I told my wife, I seriously doubt it will hold the yellow as it grows.

I'll try to get some good shots at their next feeding. I kind of gave up on photographing my fish, 5" is just too tiny to get good detail of. It's not like they're in a glass aquarium, 3400 gallons and 5" fish is like me living at Wrigley Field. Good luck trying to take a picture of me from the top row when I'm at 2nd base. Although, since we're on this metaphor, feel free to throw all the hotdogs you like down to me, I would be most appreciative of that.

Naw my driver is good. He comes almost daily between stuff I order for my full time job, stuf I order for my side business, and the shoes my wife buys. He's super careful and doesn't seem to mind having to walk a 100' driveway.
