Thanks to you all for the advice.
If I use two pumps do I use some type of splitter to get the flow into the one existing line or do I run another line to the filter?

I use 2 hoses .If you have 2 you can make one go to the filter and the other oxygenating the pond .Hate to say but I am cheap I went with sump pump hose .

I do have 2 filters so one hose to each pump and one hose extra goes in waterfall and other hose as seen just uses a ball valve to dump extra on top of water and it helps aerate the water .I do have 2 koi that are over 2 ft long and have not lost any fish in 11 years so think it must work

You could run two lines to the filter, or, better yet, run each line to it's own filter! 6000 gallons is a lot of water. 6000 gph through one filter is quite a bit. Slowing the water down a bit helps filter the water better.

Jake was playing very well before the injuries. If he stays healthy he will stay the QB. If not they will need to move on.
I watched JL all 4 years he played at UW here. He was always a great and exciting rusher but both coaches who had him tried to turn him into a pocket passer. He's always done well with short and medium passes but we would cringe when he wound up for long throws. So how's he been doing in the pros? By the way, everyone here loves him, great guy.

Get a swimming pool net and pole, slowly net the bottom of the pond, you will be able to pull a lot of muck out. So a little at a time if the muck is deep.
