Yes it can be done as i have seen a few done and they look brill will put pics on when start next year

Theres a koi dealership here in Devon called the Tinkley Koi Farm , a they have a huge flooded quarry which is full of large in some cases super Jumbo koi:-

But by far the biggest fish in it is a large sturgeon you can feed dogfood too it is rumoured to be huge though I've never caught sight of it mmyself before , I live in hope to see it during our next visit
