I saw Chippy yesterday, he made it through the winter.

Now the 4 does lay in my backyard all night. Lol. They seem to like the carrots and sunflower hearts in the squirrel feeder better than the deer pellets. I went out 2 nights ago to put a handful of carrots in the feeder, they were laying down and disnt even get up when I went outside. One walked through my pond screen the other nigh, so it’s ruined again. Lol. I saw her do it.

It looks like 2 Groundhogs made it through the winter, first day they were out.

Toad time is in full swing here. The pond looks like a mucky swamp, between the hundreds of toads stirring up sediment, as well as adding copious amounts of... ummm..... 'organic material' to the mix. It's been two full days. I hope they're winding down at this point so I can cross 'dump toads out of the skimmer basket' off the to-do list! It does make for some fabulous photo ops, though!

Thanks. The one nice thing about how many we get is that the tadpoles are GREAT at eating up algae & other debris in the pond. I refer to them as the 'clean up crew'. Plus you can get a tadpole pedicure! Pic from last year:

Guess I don't know who mini Mike is. Ok so I went and googled it and came up w/...................Bloomberg? I forgot he was given a new name by the prez,lol! But what is the licking of the fingers? I never heard that one.
